יש לשנות את המונח "קונטרה טנור" בו משתמשים לציון גבר השר בטכניקת פלסטו בגובה של אלט. אין זה המקרה. אמנם מגיע מר זריהן לגבהים מרשימים, אך לא בטכניקת פלסטו. HansCastorp 12:13, 7 בנובמבר 2006 (IST)

אין לי מושג בנושא, אז נעזרתי במיודעתי, רעתי, אלופתי; המשכילה, הנבונה והמוכשרת, הידועה ברשת בכינוייה - סרפד. הנה דברים שכתבה לי בנושא זה, ואישרה לפרסום בויקיפדיה:

זריהן נחשב לקונטרה טנור בכל התייחסות שנתקלתי בה בארץ או בעולם. בהגדרה קונטרה טנור הוא גבר ששר אלט או סופרנו. השימוש בפלסטו הוא לא הכרחי לצורך ההגדרה כקונטרה טנור, אף שהשימוש בו שכיח אצל קונטרה טנורים. לזריהן יש קול גבוה טבעי ומנעד יוצא מן הכלל והוא מגיע לטונים גבוהים בלי צורך בפלסטו, להבדיל מטנורים טבעיים ששרים בטווח האלט ע"י שימוש בפלסטו. גברים שיש להם קול גבוה טבעי ויכולים להגיע לגבהים כאלה בלי פלסטו הם נדירים ולכן השימוש בפלסטו שכיח כדי להפיק קול בטווח הזה והתקבע לסוג של דיעה מקובלת, אבל כאמור זה לא חלק הכרחי מההגדרה.
