מנחם דוֹמְבּ (נולד ב-23 ביולי 1953) הוא פרופסור להנדסת חקר ביצועים וניתוח מערכות, ומכהן כראש החוג למדעי המחשב במכללה האקדמית אשקלון. דומב בעל ניסיון אקדמי של 30 שנה בהוראה ומחקר במוסדות אקדמיים בישראל ומחוצה לה. פרופסור חבר ודוקטור למדעים בהנדסת חקר ביצועים וניתוח מערכות, ושלושה תארים שניים במנהל עסקים, במתמטיקה, ובמדעי המחשב. מרצה באקדמיה בחוגים מדעי המחשב, כלכלה, לוגיסטיקה, חשבונאות, הנדסת מחשבים ומערכות מידע, תעשייה וניהול, וחקר ביצועים.

במקביל, ניסיון מקצועי של 36 שנים בקשת תפקידים בכירים במשרד הביטחון, בחברות הייטק, תוכנה, ותקשורת בין לאומיים.

קורות חיים[עריכת קוד מקור | עריכה]

מנחם דומב נולד ב־23 ביולי 1953 בהוד השרון לרוזה לבית מיטלפונקט (ביתו של יוסף דוד מיטלפונקט) ולרב צבי דומב, שכיהן כרב הראשי של הוד השרון. יחד עם אחיו התאום, אבי דומב, למד בישיבת בני עקיבא כפר הרא"ה. לאחר שירות צבאי ולימודים בישיבת הר עציון, פנה דומב ללימודי מתמטיקה ומדעי המחשב. ב-1978 השלים תואר ראשון באוניברסיטת בר-אילן וב-1982 תואר שני במנהל עסקים באוניברסיטת תל אביב.

משנת 1982 עד 1986 שהה דומב בניו יורק כשליח במשלחת הרכש של משרד הביטחון. בשנות שירותו בניו יורק השלים ב־1983 תואר שני נוסף במתמטיקה שימושית ומדעי המחשב באוניברסיטת ניו יורק, כשהוא משמש במקביל כעוזר הוראה. ב-1996 השלים את לימודיו לתואר דוקטור למדעים בחקר ביצועים וניתוח מערכות בטכניון. ב-1997 יצא בשליחות חברת אמדוקס לארצות הברית כמנהל לקוח במיזורי. בעת שהותו שם השתלם באוניברסיטת וושינגטון כפוסט דוקטורנט בבית הספר להנדסה, המרכז לאופטימיזציה. במסגרת זו היה מעורב בפרויקטים עבור הצבא האמריקאי, והמשיך כמרצה אורח.

ב־2001 – 2002 היה מרצה בכיר מלווה בטכניון בפקלוטה להנדסת תעשייה וניהול. ב-2002 הצטרף דומב למכללה האקדמית אשקלון כמרצה בכיר. ב-2009 מונה לפרופסור חבר והחל מ-2019 משמש כראש החוג למדעי המחשב במכללה.

דומב הרצה במשך שנת לימודים אחת, 2012 – 2013, באוניברסיטת באר שבע בתחום רשתות תקשורת.

החל מ־2010 הוא מרצה באוניברסיטת בר-אילן בניהול סיכונים פיננסיים בתוכנית לתואר שני בביקורת.

2001-הווה פרופסור חבר במכללת אשקלון, בר-אילן, וכמה שנים באוניברסיטת באר שבע.
2013-2016 נציג חברות מחוץ לישראל לביצוע פיתוח תוכנה לחברות הזנק בישראל.
2007-2012 אמדוקס הודו: חבר הנהלת מרכז החברה בהודו המונה כ-7500 עובדים, מנהל חטיבת שילוב מערכות וייעוץ כ-1000 מומחים בהיקף פעילות $250M. מנהל מערך ההדרכה והטמעת תרבות ארגונית. אחראי על הקשר עם האקדמיה וחברות מחקר
2001-2006 אמדוקס קפריסין: חבר הנהלת מרכז החברה בקפריסין המונה כ-1200 עובדים. סמנכ"ל עסקים ופרויקטים של אזור המזרח הרחוק APAC – ניהול לקוחות בתחום הטלקומוניקציה באינדונזיה, מלזיה, טאיוון, סין, הודו, הונג קונג וסינגפור.
2000-2001 מנכ"ל חברת בת של אמדוקס בארצות הברית בתחום מערכות לאיתור וסיכול תרמיות ברשת.
1997-2000 אמדוקס ארצות הברית: מנהל בכיר וחבר הנהלה בחברת התקשורת בל דרום-מערב.
1997-2001 יזם ובעלים, קוגניטה ישראל חברת הזנק במסגרת חממה טכנולוגית במימון המדען הראשי ומשקיעים פרטיים
1987-1996 קומט–מערכות ואוטומציה, סמנכ"ל פיתוח ושיווק. החברה עוסקת במחשוב בתי חולים, משרד הבריאות ומע"ץ. וכן פיתוח והטמעת מערכות בארצות הברית ואירופה.
1986-1987 משרד הביטחון, עוזר ראשי למנכ"ל המשרד ומשנה למנהל המרכז לאו"ש ומערכות מידע.
1982-1986 משרד הביטחון חבר בכיר במשלחת משרד הביטחון בניו-יורק
