המובנדין

המובנדין הוא חלבון ואנביני ירוק, שנמצא בתאי דם מסוג ונדוציט, של אורגניזמים מסוימים, ביניהם אסדיציה (בעיקר אורגניזמים שחיים בתוך המים).^[1] זהו אחד מהחלבונים המעטים המכילים את היסוד הכימי ונדיום.^[2]^[3] הכימאי הגרמני מרטין הנזה (אנ') זיהה לראשונה ונדיום באסדיציות בשנת 1911.^[4]^[5] שלא כמו המוסיאנין והמוגלובין, המובנדין לא מוביל חמצן.^[6]^[7]
