Reached from Berlin by way of the [� �] Die Königs Wusterhausen-Mittenwalde-Töpchiner Kleinbahn (also reached from Berlin Neukoelln by the Neukölln-Mittenwalder Eisenbahn)
The colony was opened in 1919 - the first one in the Berlin area, and was probably very popular in the late 20s and early 30s. There are still three nudist clubs here at Motzen See.

The owner was called Fedor Fuchs.
There is an article on the camp in the contemporary early 1930s journal [� �], Laughing Life. (no laughing matter)
In this University of Missouri [� �] there is a reference to a female alumnus of that University and Hobo (!!!) called Jan Gay (On Going Naked, Garden City Press 1932) visiting here and likening it to a naked Coney Island. (!) The visitors were apparently working class and unemployed.
Other colonies here were called Birkenheide,Neusonnland and
Märchenwiese. Fuchs edited a journal called Nackt-Sport.
Apparently FKK didn't quite end in 1933.
