Flags of Italian-allied nations: The men at the front row in camouflage uniform and white webbing belong to the Belgian Army, in fact they are the colour party of the Regiment of Carabiniers and Grenadiers (Mechanised Infantry) which was founded after the return from Germany of the First Grenadier Battalion in 1994. The man that is carrying the colour is a Lower Officer, the one on his right is a corporal and the one at his right is an NCO. The rifle they carry is the standard issue Belgian FN FNC (5.56 mm nato) rifle. The pistol of the officer is a 9mm GP from FN also. The newly formed Regiment has its barracks in Leopoldsburg at the place where the former Regiment of Carabiniers Prince Leopold had there place. The three man on the right belong to the Austrian Army, the man carrying the flag is a vice lieutenant, the two man flanking are majors.
